History:
Super rare very early PJ Shirt. I’ve had this piece in my collection since about 1994 / 95.
The “elusive ones”, identified by the two spheres in the hands of the devil, are the souls of regular folks. At times those devilish forces bring us together. At other times, those same forces keep us apart. The words within each sphere seem to identify out-dated social concepts. Or, maybe they just represent polar opposite individuals.
The back reveals the greater message that hopefully we all are boundless (as much as society/culture will allow us anyway).
I love shirts like this one. A deceptively simple doodle with some messages hidden in plain site.
